In a change from our usual Gallery snaps, this page has nothing to do with us!!!! Here are some pics of a charity football match: The Severn Sound Allstars v Hollyoaks and Brookside. The football match, held at Meadow Park (the home of Gloucester City), was to raise money for the Severn Sound Money Mountain - and they must have raised thousands thanks to huge crowd numbers. The final score was:
Severn Sound 5
Mersey Television 7
But apart from the home boys losing, it was a great day all round.
These snaps were taken in 2002

The yellow perils head out to get the game underway.

It's fair to say Severn Sound goalie Tony wasn't rushed off his feet at the start of the match.
Hollyoaks Finn and Severn's Ian Jenkins race for the ball.
Newsman Duncan (10) runs the wrong way - well, he left his glasses in the changing room.
Other newsman Mark (far right) just didn't stop running. He's still going now.
A Hollyoaks striker gave Tony a football boot in the crown jewels. What a claim to fame.
Half time came early for every man in the stadium.
Tony, being a gentleman, knew exactly where to look!
There's always someone who spoils the fun!!
The Hollyoaks boys take the ball, yet again.
Although it looks like they are, I assure you they're not playing musical statues.
"...well, somebody get it!"
Everyone watches in amazement as the ball gets  caught in suspended animation.
BlackThunder Ben goes in for another unsuccessful tackle.
Is he putting some kind of spell on that football?
Stud of the match Marcus Patric (Ben from Hollyoaks) helps get another goal for MerseyTV.
Ever get the feeling nobody else wants to play?
Dunc goes in for a tackle with Nick Pickard (Tony), even though the ball's nowhere in sight.
Tony was having a good game, til he lost his boot.
That was a bit of a low tackle from Marcus (Ben) - good job the ref missed it!
Dave Morgan for Mersey takes yet another throw-in - leading to yet another goal.
Severn's Mark Summerell gets ready to carry out a typical Beckham curve shot... hold on, why are they holding hands?
