12 HOUR CHARITY SKITTLE-THON
Malmesbury Home School Association
in conjunction with the Rotary Club
Of The South Cotswolds invite you to
join in our 12 Hour Sponsored
Skittle-a-thon on SATURDAY 17th
MAY at THE RED BULL, Sherston
Road, Malmesbury in aid of the
Malmesbury School Minibus Appeal.
The Rotary Club of the South
Cotswolds is helping the Malmesbury
School Home and School Association
(HSA) by organising a 12 hour
skittles challenge, to help raise money for the much needed new mini bus for the Malmesbury School. The mini-bus appeal now stands at 15% short of our target - required by July 2008 when the current vehicle must be replaced.
How you can help! We need parents and friends of the school to: 1.arrange a skittle team of 4 to participate in the skittle-a-thon for either a ½ hour or 1 hour slot 2.obtain sponsorship – from your family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours etc. 3.provide a ‘sticker upper’ – perhaps a pupil at the school and a friend?
Please help us provide funds for such a worthy cause. Want to challenge the Rotary resident team at the Malmesbury HSA skittle-a-thon on Saturday 17th May and raise funds for the new school mini-bus? Then please contact Margaret Lamb on 01666 825617 or email us at hsa@Malmesbury.wilts.sch.uk
for sponsorship forms, indicating what which time best suits you to play on the day between 8am – 8pm. Time slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Malmesbury School HSA, Corn Gastons, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, SN16 0DF Registered Charity No. 1115396
THE JACKDAW IS BACK
I know that TheJackdaw.com's been a bit mistreated lately. This wasn't because we'd grown bored of you all out there, but because we've been moving house - which would have gone swimmingly but the new broadband service took a while to get working correctly. Apologies for this break in service, we're back now and we'll be getting the other sites (4014, Skittles, Links and Maps) up to speed as soon as we can.
