Malmesbury Websites has been designed to be an impartial list of websites which are based, or have a connection with, Malmesbury and it's surrounding villages (covering the SN16 postcode). The site is maintained by the Jon E P group which has non-pecuniary interests with thejackdaw.com, 4014.co.uk, and the Malmesbury Skittles League. Malmesbury Websites is produced voluntarily and therefore does not, and will not contain any form of sponsorship, advertising nor hold favour with any sites or company. Information on Malmesbury Websites is shareware with the exception of: The logos, trading names and website quotes (marked with 'quotation mark' symbols in the synopsis box) used herein which are the property of the respective companies/groups and have been used without permission. Contact details such as phone numbers and email addresses have all been sourced from the official websites, we will not use personal contact information unless it is already free to find on the Internet. All websites are checked every six months and reviewed for their relevance to this list. During these checks we may also feel the need to update logos or descriptions about the websites concerned. Because of this, some sites may disappear from the system completely without prior notice or reason. We make every effort to keep all details up to date, including URL name, logo, synopses and menu placement. However, if you feel any of these to be incorrect, please contact us through links@thejackdaw.com so that we can correct this fault. This is the same email address you should use if you would like to nominate a site (see section 'Nominate a site' or if you would like to request your (or your company's) website be removed from the list. We have never received correspondence from any company or individual about being removed from Malmesbury Websites and we hope we never do. If you are in any way unhappy with how your website is listed, please email us with your grievance so that we can do our best to accommodate your needs better. All correspondence will be acted on within thirty days of being received. Due to the Representation of Peoples Act, listings for political parties will appear blank within forty days of an election within the North Wiltshire constituency. Because Malmesbury Websites has been produced as a Shareware concern, anyone with a website of their own is welcome to link through to it.  The official URL address for this website is http://malmesbury.homestead.com/link.html JULY 2005: We have changed the criteria for listing businesses on Malmesbury Websites. If a national or international company has an outlet in Malmesbury, until now we were happy to list them. We have now revised this and are only listing larger companies if: 1. they have a main office or headquarters in Malmesbury 2. they are a regular contributor to the town and it's people or 3. Their website promotes Malmesbury in some way. If none of the above apply, they have been removed from the service. This new criteria will not negatively affect Malmesbury-based businesses and should benefit them by making it easier to find their sites via this service without having to scroll through sites of no importance to the town.
